A Path Rooted in the Light of the Prophet ﷺ
The Shadhilliya Darqawiya Habibiya is a living branch of the noble Shadhili order, tracing its origins to Imam Abul Hasan al-Shadhili (may Allah be pleased with him), the great saint of North Africa whose light illuminated the Muslim world in the thirteenth century. Through an unbroken chain of transmission — the silsila — the teachings, practices, and spiritual states of the masters have been preserved and passed down to the present day.
The path was renewed through the blessed hands of Sidi Muhammad al-Arabi al-Darqawi, whose letters and teachings breathed fresh life into the Shadhili way, and further carried by the Habib lineage whose love and knowledge continue to guide seekers toward the Divine Presence.
